Goldhorse Born&Grow
Goldhorse Born&Grow
A concentrated granulated mix for stud-mares and foals for a successful, healthy and long life. In order to fully take advantage of the genetic capabilities, it is important to provide the adequate in uterus feeding for the foals not yet born.
The adulthood strength and agility relies on the formation of joints and bones. A suckling foal requires concentrated supplements as its daily protein intake is 700 grams however the mare’s milk contains only 300 grams.
The stud-mare’s health should be preserved in the long term with special regard to the last third of the gestation period and to the lactation phase.
The Goldhorse Born & Grow has been developed based on decades of experience to fulfill these purposes while avoiding the overfeeding of the mares and foals.

General Feeding Suggestion
Concentrated horse feed should be divided into three doses on daily basis. Digesting big amounts of forage at once can increase the risk of the emergence of harmful fermentation processes. To avoid overloading the stomach please consider the feeding suggestions.
In case of the substance is mixed together with cereals (oat, barley, corn), the total weight of forage should not be more than the amount that is recommended in the feeding suggestions.
For 100 kgs of live weight the optimal amount of high quality of fibrous feed to be provided is minimum 1kg. The fibrous feed amount should be more in the evening than in the morning and the noon feeding.
Changing between different types of forage regularly needs a 6-7 days period.
